I’m the CEO of FOTOCASH24.de and FOTOPRO24.de, two leading online purchasing platforms for second-hand photographic equipment including cameras, lenses, and accessories. We operate primarily in Europe but deliver worldwide. We also provide funds for customer projects and photographic endeavors while emphasizing environmental protection by relocating available products to save resources.

We hired their team to manage development of FOTOCASH24.de, the first purchasing platform we created.

We were looking to create a best-in-class product with outstanding design, intuitive usability, and an advanced backend within a short time frame.

We sent out an RFP and Segmentsoft was among just over 10 potential partners. The Segmentsoft team had a deep understanding of our project and a very professional approach with realistic timelines and price quotes, which led us to choose them over other options.

This project was the largest our business has taken on thus far. It encompassed all aspects of creating a complex web-based platform from scratch, provided with little more than preliminary ideas on design and functionality. Aspects of the project included frontend development, client cabinets, a managed product database, backend management and analytics tools, and an integrated, external shipping solution. After about three months of work, the Segmentsoft team pioneered this product to the market and mastered a unique solution that we are now very proud of.
